I just finished a section hike to Lehigh Gap, Pa. and stayed overnight in Slatington. I found the town friendly, especially the new owners of the Slatington Diner, AKA Charlotte Fay's Main Street Diner, Jason and Jolene. They are open BLD, friendly, and eager for hiker business.
