I met a trail angel named Apple on the CT last year. I know he sets up on the AT every year. Anyone know where and when? I'm hiking the AT and would love to say hi.

Last year on my thru hike I met him at Burningtown Gap in NC, which I believe was just south of the NOC. He was there at the very end of February. Couldn't tell you if he was there this year or chose to come out later because of the bad winter. Hope you find out where he will be though. He's a great guy! Happy trails.
When I did my thru in 2013, Apple set up at Brown Gap, just before Max Patch. Great Guy! Hope you find him.

I met him at Davenport Gap in June 2013, he gets around!
