Kelty Triptease. I don't love it, but it doesn't stretch and I have it. I had some lines (random nylon cord from the garage) that stretched and that was not good.

It's all relative. Kelty Triptease is really good when compared to most cord, but is probably too heavy for the UL crowd :) Not being UL, I too use the Triptease.

Same. I tie Tauntline Hitches on the ends for easy adjustment and experience so slippage.

I bot some of that orange Spectra no tangle guy line.I really do NOT like it because it says it is no tangle but it gets tangled pretty darn quick if you ask me.My tarp is a cuben fiber tarp. The one and only thing I like about it is the Weight.I makes a difference to shave some weight whenever and wherever you can.

My GF works at Sterling Rope, so we use some accessory cord them make that has reflective strips in it. Andrew Skurka uses it, too, Glocord, I think its called.

Paracord will stretch, same as nylon tents. You would just have to adjust tension a bit after setting up.

I use 1.8mm Spyderline. Woven polyester sheath with a dyneema core. Designed for sailing rigging so it works well for knots (tying and untying) in nasty weather conditions. For most people it will be overkill in strength, cost and the knotting characteristics. For me, it fits perfectly so I don't mind the cost.
