Got a really good deal on a Fly Creek UL1 new. Set it up in my living room. Kind of small for me(6'1"). Looking at Tarptent Rainbow or Moment. What do you think?

On the Tarptent site inside each product page there is a section called Video.
In there you find a 3D clip showing a 6" dummy inside the tent on top of a mat.
That should give you some ideas on how you will fit inside those.

I am going to use metrics...
Of course it is a 6' dummy.

Rainbow if you are looking for more room. Squall 2 is even more spacious for the same weight.

Moment DW is a great shelter (I have one). But it is not 'spacious'. Plenty of room for me at 6', I can keep my pack inside as well, and it has vestibules that are moderately adjustable. Goes up in about 90 seconds or so.

Double Rainbow. Having 2 doors and vestibules rocks.

I absolutely love my Double Rainbow, however it's only fair for me to also suggest that if you use hiking poles, you should also look at the Lightheart gear tents especially the lighttheart so-long. When I was deciding what tent to buy I had a gery hard time deciding between the two and I think I would have been happy with either.

If you use trekking poles and can set up tents using straight poles (tarp like...) the Notch is the trekking pole version of the Moment or the StratoSpire 1 if you particularly like large vestibules.

I'm 6'1" also, I set the Fly Creek up in the store and found it to be too small before buying, I have a Tarptent Double Rainbow and a Notch, both good tents that fit me.

I love my Notch. I'm 6'1" and have plenty of room to sit up inside. When I put my 25" wide Xtherm in there with my WM Alpinlite long its filled to capacity with luxurious sleeping goodness. I swear its more comfortable than my bed at home. It may not be UL but man is it worth every oz.

Looking at the rainbow or moment. Now if I can sell my fly creek I will be all set.

Give the Solong 6 a look. It is a 100 inches long and 30 oz. Hard to beat.

I have a TT Contrail, the new Prolite is the same length. I just do not see a better tent for price/performance/weight.

Give the Solong 6 a look. It is a 100 inches long and 30 oz. Hard to beat.

Those 100 inches are not all usable. Not to mention the ends slope down eliminating usable space. The Tarptents all have vertical footprints so the length listed is all usable.
