Wayah Bald Parking

Hi everybody
Not sure if I got this in the right spot (still learning the site)
Anyways I was planning on a section hike from Neels Gap to Wayah Bald next month.
Looking for some current info on parking and any issues with leaving my vehicle at Wayah.
Point me in the right direction if Something is already up on this. Thanks:)

I've never left a car at Wayah Bald. Kind of very out of the way. I probably would be OK for a night or two, but for the lenght of time you are talking about, I'd probably try and find another parking option. :)

I would stay at goose creek cabins , 3 miles down the road from Neel Gap, the night before. The owner will shuttle you from mountain crossings if you stay there.
If you stay there, he will let you park your car there.
Then I would get a shuttle to Wayah, and hike back to Neel Gap. When you get to MX, call Keith to come get you, or hitch a ride down the road to goos creek cabins to your car. You would just need to stay there either before, or after your hike..

maybe leave the car in Franklin NC. at Rons Motel/Hostel if he allows that?
