After doing some dehydrating in the oven (PITA), I put the word out to friends and associates that I was looking for a dehydrator. A buddy had a Harvest Maid FD-5000 I could have for free--the thing is ancient but looks to have been "used once then forgotten."

Nesco web site does not have the manual for this model.

Anyone have a copy of the manual for this antique? It looks like a microwave; the trays are square. Has a side-blower. The feature I don't see mentioned in any of the several dehydrator manuals I have read is the choice to use "recirculated" air--or not. Big metal grill on the back shifts up or down to either entirely expose or mostly cover air holes.

figured it was worth a shot in the dark here. . .

I spent half an hour looking for manuals, posted this, then two minutes later found someone describing this exact model on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf73Ad3WO4w if you're curious

I did my due diligence before posting--neither of these have the adjustable circulation feature that I'm most curious about. Tx,
