Neels Gap to Wayah Bald Hike

I have hiked from the Approach trail to Neels Gap last year and plan on picking up where I left off.
Can I make Wayah Bald in 7 full days or am I pushing it? tougher terrain than what I came through already?:)

Did you average at least 15 mpd to neel gap? Ie 2.5 days?
If so, yes
If not, no. Its 90 miles.

If you havent done 6 day straight hiking and know how feet and knees hold up, that would be another cause for concern.

It is doable though, for anyone in decent shape, moderate pack weight , and desire to hike longish days.

Although I have lost 37lbs and am in twice the shape I was when we did the first section I think 12 miles a day is about the most I feel comfortable with.
I am gonna plan on 7 days and leave an extra for good measure. Looking forward to the trip for sure.

I averaged 10 miles a day last section and I was out of shape and overweight. Hopefiully my work has paid off and this trip will be much more enjoyable. We have done Cloudland Canyon and Tallula Gorge with excelent results while training up for this trip. We even got our Climbers Club T-shirts to boot.
