I just tried to upload and something isn't working right. Raging hampster is having a problem as well, but I don't know the details. Everyone that is out there try uploading and tell me if you were successfull or not, and if not, what the error message was.

Thanks!

When trying to upload a photo, I get:

Your file exceeded our limit of 0kb. Please go back and try again.

It says in red 0kb file limit so maybe you need to reset whatever the limit is suposed to be in properties or whatever.I dont think i have any files under 0kb lol Erik

Mine did the same as Streamweaver's. It asked for a name of a file, which was there.

The description area was shaded over also. I don't know if this had anything to with the problem.

I'm trying to work the issue. I just upload pics yesterday as well. I went in and tried to change some settings, but couldn't, like there was a problem with either my admin privilidges or there is something preventing the set up files from changing.

OK, I decided to look at what the last thing I did before this problem happened. Vasically I just added a header. Deleting the header fixed it. So now I have to figure out what there is to my header that screws up the photo stuff. ARGH!

Don't kill the bearer of bad news....I just tried again. No go.

It states the file limit as being 0k. It should be something around 500k I believe.

I took the header off, try again

This is bizzar. I edited the header in wordpad to make sure frontpage didn't stick in crap into the code and it's a clean htm document. But yet it doesn't work.

The original header from photopost still works and doesn't screw up the gallery, yet looks bad - and I looked for any special tags, but there aren't any. I'm baffled. there isn't anything in there but tables, links, and a form which fas the links in it. nothing easy didn't have when he was running the site. ARGH!

I like that Gen Custer look a like.

I just tried again and no luck.

It reads in Red under Photo size "0k file size limit"

This is what it says after attemping to upload.

Your file exceeded our limit of 0kb. Please go back and try again.

Making headway. I started editing the header one component at a time. As soon as I added the site navigation form it screws up. there is something wrong with the form code. Now I gotta figure that out :(

Easy, the file sizes are exactly what you said. According to what I'm reading there isn't a 0K file size limit. hmmmmm.

Anyway, here is the code causing the problems:

"<form name="jump">
<p>Site Navigation</font></b><font face="Verdana" size="2" color="#000000"><br>
<select name="menu" onChange="location=document.jump.menu.options[document.jump.menu.selectedIndex].value;" value="GO" style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: #000000; background-color: #CFCFCF">

</p>
</form>

Any other html web slingers out there care to help me debug this crap? I can't see anything wrong.

Thanks Easy. I put a temporary header up that still lets the gallery work for now. I gotta go back and figure out the code problem and fix that.

OK y'all, upload some stuff now, lets see what other problems there are.

Easy was the savior of us all. He sent me his old header code and I was able to figure out what the header problem was. At least I fixed it without completly understanding it.

The other was a problem with user groups. Again, easy fixed it.

Easy is a god. He ain't the God, just a god. (ref: Groundhogs Day):)

Looks like all problems are solved. The webmasters e-mail is getting flooded by upload notifications. Cool pictures too.
