View Full Version : Hammock with Snugpak Jungle blanket
Looking to cut some weight for this summers section hike, Tenn/NC area. Was looking at using the snugpak jungle blanket along with my hammock. Replace heavier sleeping bag.
Is there anyone who has this product? please share option.

If you plan to use as a blanket then it would work but you will still need some sort of insulation like a pad or better a UQ. If you are going to use the snugpak then I recommend testing under controlled conditions ( like your backyard ) before you head out into the woods.
I have liked snugpak stuff, I have two of their sleeping bags, but have not tried the blanket. I did look it up and it may be a bit short. I would just check the size to make sure, I have never had a quality issue with my sleeping bags and one in particular I have used pretty hard.
The sized did cause some concern, however I was planning on using it diagonally. I also carry a pad. thanks for the replies.
