Mack's Inn or Henry's Lake

Planning my resupplies I'm up to here. At the moment I'm leaning towards Mack's Inn over Henry's Lake because of ease of resupply and a reliable, on trail spot to pick up maps for Yellowstone.

I know there is a lot of road walking on this alternate - other than that is there a compelling reason to take the Henry's Lake Route?

Water used to be very scarce on the Henry's Lake route. I don't know whether that has changed or not. If you take it, you end up hitching to W. Glacier which is a busy tourist town with lots of motels and restaurants. Macks Inn used to have a dinner theater with AYCE meals.
