I tried this recipe out and packaged up a couple meals. Pretty good stuff.

If you are new to DIY meals and dehydrating this is a good meal to start out with. And don't wuss out on the mole and chipotle peppers and adobo sauce!

I've tried a few meals that he's put out on his site. Very tasty. Lot of effort to cook & then dehydrate, though. For a short hike, it would be okay. Longer hike? I don't know about that. Lot of work.
