We did an excellent hike up to Gillespie Point and to Jerry Run and Bohen Run Falls from the scenic village of Blackwell along the Pine Creek Gorge. Gillespie Point was breathtaking with views up and down the gorge. The weather was excellent, although a bit warm. Looking over a sea of green across the rolling ridges and plateaus was breathtaking. We then hiked along the gorge to Jerry Run and Bohen Run Falls along another beautiful trail through diverse forests with some large trees. The falls were running well in their hidden grottos. Awesome views, great waterfalls. Pine Creek Gorge is such a beautiful area. Part of this hike was along the Mid State and Great Eastern Trails. Go there.
