Can anyone recommend a safe place to park in Glascow for 2-3 wks?

Maybe behind the Firehouse? Call them. It's a very hiker friendly town, even has it's own town shelter with hot showers.

Does the trail go through Glascow? I was just looking at the guide and it doesn't seem to.

Trail does not go thru town, but it is hiker friendly and fairly easy to get to with traffic in the area. If you don't have any luck with the firehouse, let me know. I have a friend in town there that I'm sure could help you out.

You may leave your vehicle at my house if it would put your mind at ease. I would be glad to take to you to the trailhead. I'm about 9 miles from Glasgow.

Thanks Pastor for your offer!
Deer Hunter thanks to you as well! Do either of you know of anyone who shuttles from Glascow to Bland, Va.?
Ive not been able to find a shuttle as of yet! Since Glascow isn't on the trail I will also need someone to meet me at the trailhead to take me ( and my dog) back to my car in Glascow! I'm not into hitching rides. :)

What day would you need the shuttle? If it is on the weekend, I may be able to help.

Glad to see you are still around DH. DH has helped me out multiple times. You could also try Three springs Hostel who I have used to shuttle to Glasgow.
