Sitting on conference calls all day makes one pine for the trail. Trail Journals helps fill the gaps. I generally chose people who have the ability to put a story together, give you more than just "I hiked from point A to point B, can string sentences together (and use punctuation and verbs and vowels and the occasional paragraph) and post regularly (ideally daily).

Red Panda (this is a writer who gives you not only a sense of the trail, but the mental journey as well from the perspective of a 26 yr old woman. This may be my favorite. Could also be posted under "Quirky" below.) - http://www.trailjournals.com/entry.cfm?id=499303
Pairs - hiking partners.

Quirky - I'm never quite sure where this is going, but I'm enjoying the ride. (or walk, as the case may be). What attracted me to this journal initially was his initial 6 mile per day pace. Stop by and give this guy some encouragement. I think he's going to make though it always seems tenuous.

Aborted - The last entry on these is "Tomorrow I leave for the trail!" I make up stories about what may have befallen these guys.
