I am intending to hike NOBO from Lee, Mass to Franconia starting in late June.
Celebrating an important milestone b-day this year. Anybody interested in
joining in? I'm figuring 15 miles per day is a good goal for a late 60's hiker
who still works and skis. Pls respond for more details. PT

PTCan't join in, but unless you are experienced and hike all the time (you didn't say, and working and skiing just isn't as difficult physically as hiking the ups and downs of VT and NH), 15 miles per day is a pretty ambitious pace even for someone in good physical condition through VT and NH. A better goal might be in the 10 to 12 mpd range for planning purposes, and if you wind up doing more adjust as needed.
