Thru-hike

I'm starting my thru-hike tomorrow! I think I've got things pretty well squared away.

Couple last minute questions:
- Can I count on hitching into Blue Ridge or should I try to arrange a shuttle?
- How is the water situation?
- Anyone else going to be starting the trail in the next few days? You might catch me, as I'm planning to take things slow.

I would think that you are early enough to not worry about sources drying up - but then again, I don't know for sure - just past experience.

Water situation is relative.
Finding drinking water will not be a problem.
Fording streams might be.
