Anyone know how available water is on the Max Patch to Hot Springs section this year? Probably heading out there in a couple of weeks.

I did the section from I-40 to Hot Springs last week. Max Patch to Lemon Gap had plenty of water. Walnut Mountain shelter source was okay. The only water source between there and Deer Park Mountain Shelter was at mile 266.5 in the guide....Brook with cascades. Deer Park Mountain shelter source was fine.

Going Nobo, there is a spring on the climb up Walnut Mtn(on your left) and also a small spring on the climb up up Bluff Mtn that you actually cross. There is another spring on the north side of Bluff a few hundred feet of descent from the top--It is well marked at the elbow of a switchback.
