Just thought I'd share with everyone what I've settled on as my camp shoe:

Set of Vivobarefoot Ultras (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00INC04DK/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_M3iHvbTYZ1WFZ) with some speed laces (took out the stock laces and upper sole, rubbed the wrong way on my feet).
They're light, don't hold water, flexible (bendable), have puncture-resistant soles, and lace tight to your feet if required.

Mine are bright RED, had them about 3 years. Not only good camp shoes but they work well for crossing creeks.

I suppose in my mind, switching from a set of Crocs that weighed over 20oz, these offered much more bang for the buck weight-wise.
Comfortable, sturdy, multi-use, and I won't feel like a hobo if I wear them into town.

While weight is a high consideration, sometimes comfort and practicality trumps weight.
My crocs weigh pretty much the same? Around 12.5oz. Size 11US

Sorry, I transposed. They go between 7.2 and 7.3. They come with liners and a tongue that you can remove, which I did.
