I cut my foot at the arch. Not large, but enough to make it painfull to walk. Had these bandages:

Sealed the wound and have had it on for a couple of days I think it's healed, but I want to see how long the bandage will stay on.

So you want to take a chance at a serious infection? To see how long the bandage will stay on, makes sense to me. Not my foot.

You should change bandages often. And once the wound is sealed, let it air out at night. Moist, damp wounds never seem to scab over very well. They just keep oozing and such.

Ive had duct tape stay on for 4 or 5 days.

Thanks, left it on for 4 days. No infection.

Those are not your typical "Bandaids" but are creating an environment that lets air move through the membrane for establishing a setting for quicker healing to occur. It actually is at a less risk of infection than changing dressings daily - in the field, on a typical blister or wound. As with most products, make sure you read and follow the instructions on the box, as far as length of time to keep the "bandaid" on.
