No problems here, either. Only problem I've had is when going to page 2 of the day's posts, it tells me page not found. I go back and forth a couple of times then the server finds the page.

Only problem I've had is trying to vote in the home page polls. After I click on my choice, I get "page not found" instaed of being directed to the original thread.

Yep, same here as of some time last week, I think it was. I posted something about it, in fact.

ATTroll said he had an idea of how to fix it. Don't know what he did or if he did anything, but I haven't had the problem for a couple of days now. Before that, it was pretty bad all of a sudden.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Aren't you and neo both in the Nashville area? If you are both in the same area and the only ones experiencing the issue, then it may be a proxy error.

If both of you can do me a favor...

1. What is your ISP?

2. Do the following:

- press your start button. Then select "run"

- in the box, type in cmd and press enter.

- in the command box that comes up, type: "tracert 209.59.142.146"

Copy the results from the window, it should look something like this:

C:\>tracert 209.59.142.146

Tracing route to server2.thedecostophosting.com [209.59.142.146]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

Trace complete.

This will show the hops your connection goes through to get a connection to whiteblaze. High numbers indicate a problem at one of the IPs.

Hey Rain Man, do you use EarthLink? I tried running a tracert to your last IP and it times out at EarthLink's server. My guess is either they are having an issue in your area or I'm getting a bad jump.

Skidsteer, that problem should be fixed. I fixed it last night. If you are still having a problem please let me know.

Raim Man, I have not done anything yet. I have not had time to do the new upgrade. So that leads me to think that the problem was as Rock had suggested. I might have been your ISP. I had an issue simular to that on my ISP once and I have DSL. Boy it took a lot of convincing to have my ISP to look into it too.

Rock, I do use Earthlink. I tried running the tracer as you described, but it wouldn't work. The tracer screen vanished before I could copy anything for you. My tech guy says I have to shut off my SpySweeper and Norton Internet Security in order to run it. As I'm leaving town in a couple of hours for a section hike with my wife, I won't have time to do that right now. Will be back home Sunday night.

I am continuing to get "connection refused" "error" messages when trying to connect to WhiteBlaze. In fact, just now happened when I tried to reply to your message the first time a minute ago. Tried a second time and it worked. Last week, it was impossible to connect for a couple of days. Now it's more hit-and-miss.
