I hiked the Falls Trail at Ricketts Glen this past weekend. It was great to be back at this iconic park, one of the finest state parks in the country that was once considered to be a national park. The creek was roaring and the waterfalls were spectacular. I also enjoyed all the huge trees, such as the hemlock and tulip poplar. I used to spend a lot of time at Ricketts Glen, but as the years passed my visits became infrequent. It was great to be back at such a beautiful place.

Ricketts Glen is one of my favorite places to visit in PA. Hiked there with the kids last year.
I just hike Glen Onoko falls in Jim Thorpe, PA not terribly far from there. Great falls there as well. It seems that great falls are the hidden gems of PA! Worth the Rocks IMHO
