July temperature spread - Springer to Neels gap (GA), NoBo section hike

What temperatures should I plan for in July from Springer to Neels gap? I realize rain is likely.

This is just my gut feelings without checking historical data: low 80's daytime, low 60's at night. Very humid with the potential for heavy afternoon thunderstorms. Fat Man should chime in with way more accurate info. He lives very close to the trail in Suches and is a reliable source of info on this and many local topics dealing with that section of the trail. :)

Thanks for the response! I read that the historical data might only apply to the towns/low areas so I hoped to confirm what lows I can expect to pack most effectively. I planned on using a tent & a summer weight sleeping bag.

Update - I was able to confirm with some folks from Mountain Crossings that low 80s daytime & low 60s at night is pretty accurate with perhaps an occasionally colder snap. Thanks again!
