Section hike companion MD/PA or Shenandoahs 7/20-7/26

Left off at Harper's Ferry last month, so would prefer to start there... headed North, but very flexible about what section I do too (and in which direction). July 20- 26th is my available time frame.
Have been solo-hiking but with my dog and don't think I will bring her this time after she tried to pull me down buzzards hill in No. Va. last month about 20 ft. from the warm and tender embrace of a mama bear ; )
Love being out there alone, but just thinking that as a female hiker it also might be nice to have someone to check in with along the way or each day...
Anyone else section hiking in this time frame?

I'm supposed to be starting about a week behind you near Salem, Va. Are you heading back out at all this year?
