Anyone have any recommendations for a shuttle service in the Hot Springs, NC area? TIA! :)
Bluff Mountain Outfitters on the AT in Hot Springs. While they may or may not actually provide the service, they can put you on contact with those who do.

I had a good experience with Ron McGaha on a recent section hike in that area. He is on page five of the ATC shuttler list. Here is the link for that list:

Here's a phone number for a guy we used, 828-656-2665. Saved in my phone as "Bob geologist" because he has in-depth understanding of the geology of not only that area but other parts of the AT. He was able to answer our questions about why this ridge was dry but that other one was wet, or why swamps exist at moderately high elevations of Vermont.
Thanks for the information guys! Planning on heading up that way next Saturday and hiking through to the following weekend. :)
