I am posting this thread in the "Straight Forward" section simply to note that there was an 8 or 9 page article on the 1990 murders in the September issue of "Outside Magazine". It was written by a 1990 thru hiker.
Anyone who hike the trail that year might have an interest.
FWIW, I get this magazine and many other electronically via "Next Issue". The service is something like $10 per month, but they offer a free trial (easy to cancel) that would allow one to access not only this issue, but Backpacker and many running and biking and broader appeal magazines. With the trial you can download scores current and back issues.
