Linville Gorge---Rock Jock info?

looking to gather information on the rock jock trail in linville gorge if anyone has been on it lately-------wonderin how overgrown and hard the trail is to follow?

Did you try asking on the Linville Gorge Forum?
I think the trail maintenance teams coordinate there too.

I'd also be concerned with water sources, been dry out there.

Not sure about the Gorge trails. But Bald Knob is pretty burnt.

There is a description over on Hiking the Carolinas http://hikingthecarolinas.com/rock_jock_trail.php but I couldn't tell how old that page is.
