I have a week off in March. Looking for a trail other than the AT. Any suggestions?

I see you live a little southwest of Atlanta. You could hike part of the Benton MacKaye Trail in northern Georgia. Here is a link for the website for that trail:

You could leisurely do the Foothills Trail in SC in a week. Great trail. With its spur, it is shaped like a "Y" and would add a day or two.

How far are you willing to travel?

I haven't hiked the Pinhoti Trail but I'd think March would be a good time to hike a section of it.

You could also do a section of the Ozark Highlands Trail in Arkansas.

Anywhere in the U.S. I will probably go somewhere in the south, but I would like to get out west at some point for some hiking.

Big Bend National Park. Only if your week is NOT the same week that all of the big Texas universities have spring break. The place is overrun that week. Spring break in Texas: March 14-19.

Have fun!
