Hello all,
I hope all is well. I am wanting to go to Tellico tomorrow to possibly take a short hike and swim. Any suggestions? Thanks

Lots of swimming holes along the Tellico River. If there has been much rain, the current could be a little strong and I would advise caution. Typically on rivers like this, August is good for swimming because the levels are low and there aren't many boaters. This map shows the location of Baby Falls. Numerous swimming holes near there. This is also near Bald River Falls.

the video below shows the river at springtime flows which would be too high for recreational swimming.
