View Full Version : Billville Winter Warmer at Doyle 2006?
Is it on? is there a date yet?
Its on for sure. We are working with ALDHA to coordinate the Winter Warmer with the ALDHA Work Trip to Ironmaster Hostel. We made an impromptu visit last year and helped out for a few hours. Things went so well, that we are going to organize these two trips together. Jester - any word on the date?

No date yet. I would prefer a repeat of last year's timeing, i.e. the beginning of March, as I will be over in Derry the last couple of weeks in Feb.
I'll let you know shortly after I talk to the Duncannon folks.

I will, as usual, be bringing back holy water from Knock, a shrine in the western part of the country. It is traditional to bring holy water back after going on a pilgrimmage to the shrine, which I do everytime I'm over.
Supposedly the water has the power to cure aches, pains, and illnesses. While the kind I bring back may not actually do that, it'll make you care a lot less about aches, pains, and illnesses.

Is a date set yet?
Let's do a an impromptu ruck at the Doyle THIS weekend. Jan 14-15! Any takers for a walk in the Pennsylvania woods and a night of beer and tall tales?
There is a date!!!!!!! The first weekend in March will be our annual warmer. Mark your calanders - don't be lame - come one, come all.
During the holidays while Jester and I spoke of official business (ya right - inbetween sips of malt beverage) The first weekend in March is official! He will have just returned from Ireland, just like last year. Any questions, post here or email either one of us.
