That's Zero-Zero! I met him when he came through NH during his '08 NOBO and again, quite by chance, in 2012 at Big Meadow Lodge in SNP. In '08, he still had some peripheral vision but that was going fast. I had a lot of questions for him, and he was very open with his answers. He had no clue at that point what he was going to do/be going forward, as he was still struggling with losing his sight, but he has since carved out a unique life as the founder of the Blind Ambassador Program and the TeamFarSight Foundation (http://www.farsightfoundation.org/). I met him in Vermont that year. He's a remarkable person, and I'm happy he is still hiking.
