View Full Version : Water Report Between Dennis Cove Road, TN and Damascus, VA
I am heading out for a section hike this weekend between Dennis Cove Road (just north of Roan Mountain) and Damascus, VA. I am curious if anyone's been on this section lately, as I've read reports in the past that water can be scarce over the last 20 miles or so into Damascus. I'm imagining with the semi-biblical rains we've had over the last few weeks, this won't be the case, but just wanted to check and see if anyone's been out in this area recently.

Not much water from Watauga to Damascus, The wter at vandeventer is at least half a mile off trail.
