Elevation/Speed Chart & .gpx

I use Garmin Basecamp to chart elevation and speed (see attachment) but charting of speed is very spiky. Does anyone know of different tool or method in Basecamp to create a similar chart but with speed averaged across the last X minutes?

Try filterimg the data/track in basecamp (save a copy 1st). It should smooth that out.
