Got my copy about 2 weeks ago. It's a departure from the more "documentary" style DVD about the AT. First off ...the hikers are actors and not really hikers. The producer/director however is a hiker.

It's funny but not all that "informational" in terms of the AT or hiking. There's a touch of romance and a mouthy, annoying hiker involved.

If you want to just sit back and watch a "movie" about the AT it's not bad. Just don't expect to glean anything instructional from it.

All in all I'm glad I ordered it. Kinda nice to add it to my library of AT related videos.

Yep, got my copy perhaps a month ago. I echo Slogger's comments. I found it worthwhile and entertaining. I think the quality is very professional. I was perplexed by a couple of geographical flaws that I cannot figure out why they are there, such as a reference to what appears to be Hot Springs being further from Springer than it actually is.
