Hope this isn't a dumber and dumber question. At Woody Gap are you obligated to go into Suches to camp? I know there is access into Suches for some creature comforts however limited.. But is camping allowed right there at Woody Gap?

I recall several cool tent sites between gooch and Woody gap..id stop before or after Woody not near road....

There is a great campsite 1 mile past Woody Gap at Preacher's Rock. Right behind the rock overlook there is room for a couple of tents. Worth the extra mile uphill.
Yes, camping is allowed at Woody Gap.
