Thank you all for your service.
This is the first Veterans Day that I have not had the pleasure of thanking my father for his service.
He passed less than two months ago.
He served in WWII in the Navy and Korea in the Army.
USARMY 1986-88 and MeARNG from 1980-86 and 1988 to 2002

Thanks to all those who were actually in harm's way. Glad I could help in some small way in the intel/IT fields.
Wishing my brother-in-law a happy birthday. RIP - we lost you one month ago today. While he never could become a Veteran due to health reasons, he inspired both his sons to go into the military.

I second the greatest generation. I also didn't get to thank my dad this year that I read and write in English, lost him close to hours wedding anniversary, July 4. South Pacific, WW II, USMC. Me, Army, 78-81, Korea. Thanks to all those who continue in harm's way on our behalf.

Hey my dad served aboard the USS Holland in 82-83, when it moved from Scotland to Charleston.
Just saw this now, thank you very much. Active duty currently stationed at Fort Carson.

I got on in Bremerton, WA. Jan. 75 thru Panama to Charleston then to Holy Loch. Left Dec. 76. Throtleman Fwd Eng Rm.
Never got far from the ship took walks up into the hills around Sandbank and the Loch. Allways on Port & Starboard section duty and 12 hour work shifts when at Site 1
