This was a great day hike. The weather was beautiful and the temperature just right for a December hike. I first arrived at the conservancy, bought a few items, and joined the ATC. Got my picture taken. Drove to Weverton Rd parking lot; walked to a gas station and found a ride back to Harpers Ferry.
What a cool little town full of history! I ate lunch with my family, then I headed out from Jefferson Rock back to my car. Made good time and decided to scramble up the extra 0.9 m to check out Weverton Cliffs before sunset. So glad I did.
