Chinese slippers

Or sometimes called Kung Fu shoes, or Tai Chi shoes size 43 wt 15 oz. I was surprised they weighed that much. And the tops are cotton.

Back in the 80s I had a thing for Chinese slippers. I backpacked down the California coast and into big sur wearing these. Kind of silly to think about it now. I thought it would make my feet tough I guess.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalkmy feet have grown up too since the eighties, they no longer feel the need to be tough and kick but, now they tread lightly.

I used these as camp shoes for one of my hikes. They worked well, except that when they got wet, they stayed wet. They were better than the moccasins I tried before that.

Fake crocs are bulkier but lighter.
