I'd say whoever proof read the article, or fact checked it - did not do a very good job.

And isn't the midpoint for 2015 in PA near Pine Grove Furnace SP? I remember passing a sign to that effect.

Going by the mileage in the article, the midpoint should be about 20 miles North of Pearisburg. :D

Interesting that the article actually states that Harper's is not the midpoint and goes on to say that the midpoint is actually close to Pine Grove Furnace. Too bad they got the mileage wrong so that everyone actually stops reading and misses the point.
