New Beginning

Hello all. Am thinking about hiking/backpacking parts of the AT. I am an avid outdoorsman and pretty fit (triathlete). I am always looking for the next adventure and think this may be it. Experiencing the beauty of creation is really appealing to me and I also enjoy solitude (at times). This site seems to be a good resource for all kinds of helpful information. I look forward to learning from those who have gone before me and benefit from their experiences. Let the journey begin!
