Looking to take my family to the mountains sometime this spring around Easter for a few days. Looking for a secluded cabin in the woods preferably with a view. Looking at March 24-28. Any recs other than vrbo.com. I'd prefer not to drive any further than south west NC. Any input appreciated.

Wish I could help, but my location & cabin of choice is near Boone, North Carolina. We just made a reservation this morning.
Hope you find a good one. Have fun!

Stayed here in '14, got lucky and had the whole place to myself. Hot tub on the patio next to a roaring creek. AWESOME owners.

Yellow Rose Realty in Bryson City.

My family and I rented a cabin (http://yellowroserealty.com/cabins/picture-perfect/) on Cowee Mountain up Bush Creek valley. Perfect view of Unicoi Gap. Very mountain top secluded.

Try any of the far western NC counties: Cherokee, Graham, Clay, Swain, etc. I'm partial to my home county of Cherokee. :)

My favorite on the Cherokee side of the Smokies. Most cabins are around the Bryson City area.
