Flip flop starting at Atkins Va

Late Mar early April start. Chose Atkins to start so I'd be ahead of the herd yet have plenty of trail miles before the PA rock climbs.

Good place to start. Easy to get back on trail when you flip again.

Start just down the road at Marion where the bus station is.

Also keep in mind that is a really bumpy section of trail to start out on and some nasty and exposed ridge walking before you get to Pearisburg which could be interesting during the spring storms.
