I'm planning a southbound through hike of the Appalachian Trail this summer.
I'm looking for an experienced video editor to download footage I've taken, edit and post a weekly vlog to my YouTube channel. It's a paying gig. Pay and sets
An associate who is also in the video editing field is contemplating assisting me. I'm looking for others should he decline.

Try IMovies on your iPad but the SD card cord. Plug in the SD card and the video will DL to your I pad.

I'm ultra light so the IPad is not an option. I'm exploring using Pinnacle to edit on my IPhone from micro sd cards using a reader.

I'll add the traditional disclaimer of HYOH first, but...
Some of the most watched AT Thru videos have zero editing or were done using their phone while on the trail. Look at Joe Brewer and his tens of thousands of followers. He even has a video on how he makes videos on the trail.

I did my videos on my Droid Maxx (10mp) and used Vidtrim. Not a very edit friendly program but it mainly just puts multiple videos together and you can "trim" wither end of them before you do process them all together. Here's a link to my videos. Next time I'll buy the program tho so it'll take the "Vidtrim" logo off the corner and use more memory. I think I trimmed it down to 5mp? but I can't remember for sure, just to be able to upload to Youtube faster. Simple but if you want to do any real editing, it's not going to do it.
