Cell phone service in Ga

I was wondering if Straighttalk has service in the northern sections of GA.? Planning to hike GA. section in April for the first time. Need to be able to arrange a return ride if can't make it all the way to finish. Thanks

Its a TracFone service which uses coverage off of other network towers.

The service map says yes. But I would likely say maybe just clear mountain tops or near towns.

If it uses verizon you likely have good service.

Different Straight Talk phones use different networks. I got my ST phone w/ the Verizon network. I found that my ST Verizon phone didn't have a good of coverage as the contract Verizon phones.
