A condiment is a spice, sauce, or other food preparation that is added to food to impart a particular flavor, to enhance its flavor,[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Condiment#cite_note-1) or in some cultures (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultures), to complement the dish

The Panera Bread around me usually has the small squeeze packs of grape and strawberry jelly. Good for small amounts of them.

I looked at buying from a restaurant supply site, but I don't need 1000 packets of one item. average price 2-5 cents per item, minimus prices seemed high based this, but it is an option.
thanks for sharing.

Half-and-half for your coffee. Free from McDonalds (but at least buy something before you make off with a handful). Carry them in your insulated mug so they don't get crushed.

I'm not sure if all of them have it, but I noticed Texas Pete packs at a Chik-fil-a last Friday on the way to Linville Gorge. Huge score for my weekend meals.

That's the reason Minimus.biz is a viable option...
They buy the 1,000 packets for 2-5 cents and sell small quantities to us for 10-50 cents.
When you consider you only have to spend $20 to get free shipping, minimus isn't a bad deal over all.

More than a mini packet but the salad dressing packets from the deli department at many groceries can be purchased or are sometimes given away. Work great with tuna or pastas and can be quite a few calories. I use them with cooked and redried macaroni and dried vegetables that can be reconstituted with cold water in about 45 minutes. Makes a great no cook macaroni salad especially with some summer sausage and cheese.

Minimum has a huge selection of jams and jellies. I bought dozens of then of about a dozen different varieties. I ate it everyday for lunch with PNB and tortillas. The variety added quite a bit of surprise with the flavor of the day.

Jimmy Johns sold me 25 packs of Hellman's Mayo for a buck. I did buy a sandwich also... 3/8 of an ounce or approximately 10.6 grams equaled 76 calories. Great for Tuna and Chicken pouches...

My personal care AND one of the most useful individual condiments was the packets of olive oil you can get for free at any subway! They're a perfect way to add calories to everything!!

Olive oil is the best suggestion.

Avoid junk food; processed sauces full of HFCS.

It should be noted that due to a dry year in Spain last year (one of the worlds leading growers of olives) olive oil prices have spiked upwards of a 20% increase.

Brown spicy mustard packs (harder to find then the yellow mustard packs which is a very poor substitute).Mustard is the single most important condiment, and the one to carry if one can only carry one.

Coffee whitener packs (harder to find then the big containers that just get sticky after a while when some is brought in a ziplock)

Grape Jam/jelly only for mountain house egg meals, makes them actually tasty.

Arbys - Arby's Sauce, Horsey Sauce
Little Ceasers - Red Pepper packets
Subway - Olive Oil
Bojangles - Texas Pete hot sauce, Honey
Taco Bell - Fire sauce
Chinese - Duck sauce, Sweet/Sour sauce

So, if you get carry out, from Chik-Fil-A, Chinese, etc, they will give you more in your bag than you (or at least I) can use. Just save them up...no need to steal.

Thieves, all of you!

Many movie theatres have singleton container of honey mustard; ranch dressing; barbecue sauce. They come in little pots that can be reused - I use them to make ice cubes for our cat. Often these little pots are withing reach of the customer but of the the employee' sight. :banana

Honey and Hot Sauce (Chic-fil-a) were my 2 standard ones, but the last hike I went on made me realize that Mayo is good for calories and flavor to most cheap meals.
Order a sub from subway and ask for packets of mayo: not stealing.
Buy a meal at Chic-fil-a and grab a couple packets of honey and hot sauce: not stealing.

Grab a huge handful (with or without purchase) ... well, I'd feel guilty - unless I asked the manager how much I could pay him for it.
