Shuttle Service for Section Hiking GA

Hello all,

I plan on Taking a train from Washington DC to Gainesville, GA to start section hiking the GA portion at the end of March. I've looked at Hiker Hostel but you have to be a guest to take advantage of the shuttle. I want to get on the trail the day that I arrive in Gainesville. Are there any preferred shuttle services that will take me from the Amtrak station in Gainesville, GA to the Springer Mountain trail head?

I also need to get back to Washington DC area (Woodbridge, VA) once I complete the GA portion. What is the best option for me to get back home once finishing the GA portion. Should I finish short or go further into NC?

I'm kind of surprised that Hiker Hostel wouldn't pick you up for the $$$ or know someone who could.
