Springer to NOC - March 2016

I am planning a last minute trip from Springer to the NOC. It's 133 miles and I'm looking for suggestions as far as good trail towns for zero days, resupply points, etc. Also, I'm looking for suggestions as far as a shuttle or ride from the NOC to Springer on March 19th. I have 14 days to complete this section but think I can do it in 10 or 11 days with one of those being a zero day. Any suggestions, advice, etc would be appreciated.

I stayed in Hiker Hostel to start.
They dropped off and picked up.

The best I would say is try to nero in NEEL's gap to start. 4 - 5 days out.
In the bunk house under the building. Great price.

After a few days break in your legs will like the time off.
You will meet others and can mail things back at that point.

Yes. Neel's gap is a good place after coming over Blood mountain.

Franklin, NC is a great Zero Day. With a newly opened brewery called The Lazy Hiker, what else do you need to know? http://lazyhikerbrewing.com/ Franklin is about 28 AT miles South of the NOC.
