Dog Food ?

Just curious how ample dog food resupply is along the trail and if anyone has experience with purchasing dog food along the trail.
How many days and etc should I have to expect for him to carry at once.

From what I've heard it's not a problem provided your dog is not picky and you don't mind him/her eating low quality dry dog food. Higher quality dog food is much harder to come by and their may be long stretches between resupply.

Well here at home he eats a taste of the wild version ,but then again here at home I do not eat ramen and pop tarts every day either.
He is not picky and will eat whatever but obviously try to feed him better stuff,and if he has to go a week on a lower quality he will defiantly get other fatty treats to supplement.
