Trying to decide when to take my first of 2, week long trips this year starting in southern PA. Historically it looks like the weather is about the same, and going in may will allow for a good bit more leaves on the trees. Im guessing there will be a good bit of rain either way

Living in PA, I honestly feel like this is a warmer spring so far. Last year we went from winter to summer in late April. I don't think you can go wrong with either month, but if pressed, early May would be my vote. Nights will be refreshingly cool, and daytime will get warm (hot) without the humidity.
