I'm planning on hiking NOBO next year with my black lab-rhodesian ridgeback mix. Looking for someone to hike with who would still be OK on their own if my dog and I have to get off the trail (I realize bringing him with lowers my odds of finishing). I'll be 23 when I start my hike but age isn't really an issue -- I'd be equally thrilled to hike with someone else just out of college or with an older lady who may even impart some wisdom during chats while we camp (what better time than on a 6 month walk in the woods). I won't be in any rush, and actually plan on starting pretty slow in order to avoid injury.
