Is anyone able to get this app to work? It worked great last year went to test it for this season & is not working.

Same problem here. Stopped working two days ago.

I just checked and mine is giving me a "not receiving data" message. Too bad. I love this little app.

I never could figure that app out, hard as I triedI could not seem to change the weather into what I wanted anywhere I tried to use it.:-?

Or you could carry a tiny $30 Baofeng VHF/UHF radio, monitor all NOAA and emergency stations, and also be able to communicate via repeaters (if licensed) in areas with no cell signal.

While I definitely understand not wanting to be tied to a data signal, and might still get a weather radio, getting a separate radio just seems like it would add weight when you should have signal at least a few times every day to check the forecast.

Now using "MyRadar" app for a nice radar view of weather in motion. Gives a good idea of the weather heading your way. Can zoom in to a local view or overall look at regional area.

It's weather, you can't change it. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss. [emoji949]

I got one of these 3 or 4 years ago and it works great:

http://www.amazon.com/Sangean-DT-400W-Digital-Weather-Pocket/dp/B0012YHQVE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1459186190&sr=8-3&keywords=weather+radio+sangean

or you can just bring a smart phone and get the weather from weather.com or some other site.
